Hand Carved Chinese Vintage Trunk or Chest

Deeply hand carved with scenes of temples and gardens, this Chinese trunk or chest is solid camphor wood, which resists moths and insects like cedar wood.
About 70 years old, the brass lock and latch and lion paw feet are original. The original finish is in very fine condition with a few mars at the edges for character. There is a separation from age shrinkage or warping at one corner, see photos.
Size of this vintage Asian furniture is 42" long, 21" deep and 25" tall.
