Carved of of wormy walnut about 1910 in northern Italy, a triple library bookcase is in beautiful condition. Three doors with glass panes have original working locks and hardware. The original finish is in very fine condition with minor mars at the edges. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm antique patina.
Two separate banks of shelves are adjustable on wooden supports. Working locks and hardware are original. Classical fluted motifs are understated on this furniture from Europe.
Measurements are 68 1/2" wide, 19" deep and 76 1/2" tall. The shelves will accommodate books up to 13" deep. It does disassemble for easier moving.
