Signed by famous German clockmaker, "Junghans," this oak mantel clock plays the familiar Westminster melody on the quarter hour with deep resonant chimes, and also strikes the hour.
Professionally cleaned and oiled, the 8 day brass movement is a good runner. The fine grained oak case has a fine finish with only small mars at the edges. Brass feet, the brass frame and beveled glass door are all original from about 1900.
There are "fast/slow" and "chime/silent" levers on the dial. Size of this definitive antique clock is 12" wide, 9" deep and 14" tall.
