Mah Jong Pat. 1923 Chinese Majong Game Set, Oak Case
This "Mah Jong" game set was made in China during the "Majong" craze and patented in 1923. The hand made oak case is dovetailed and has engraved brass mounts, the finish and painting are original.
A sliding cover encloses five small drawers of pieces in bamboo and bone. There are pieces as shown, but we aren't clever enough enough to play and don't know if this set is complete or not.
Size of the exquisite case is /10" wide, 7" deep, and 6" tall.
