A marvelous but understated trolley bar cart from about 1910 has original silver plated mounts and blown and cut crystal bar ware. When unlocked, the two doors with beveled glass that form the top are raised, elevating the caddy from its glass box below.
The mahogany frame is all original with a very good finish, inside there is some deterioration from splashed drinks, see photos, but a good time was had.
Brilliant cut crystal glasses include a couple with small chips. Three decanters have handles and fitted stoppers, there is a flake to the bottom of one stopper. A beveled glass and silver cigarette or cigar case is beautiful. There is a crystal ashtray with silver plate match holder plus a pair of small ashtrays.
All the hardware mounts are original silver plate over brass, only the wheels show significant wear. American made furniture fit for a millionaire's library, this antique measures 23" long, 20" deep and 28" tall when closed, when opened it is 46" long.
