Hand carved of pine and hardwoods about 1840 in New England, this country deacon's bench or settee has its original paint in remarkable condition with warm patina and lots of character wear, chips and mars.
Sturdy and very usable, the sculpted seat is comfortable. Every spindle and plank is hand shaped and planed.
Dimensions of this American antique furniture are 8' 6" long, 19" deep, 33" tall, the seat is 17" high.
