An English corner cupboard from about 1900 is solid fine grained oak. The original finish is very well preserved on this antique furniture.
Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Original locks still work, and original glass panes in the upper door are wavy.
About 60 years ago, a new back of birch plywood was added with an enormous number of screws, see photos.
Size is 37" across the crown, 6' 8 1/2" tall and the body is slightly asymmetrical, side measurements from the corner of the room to the front of the crown molding is 26" on the left and 27" on the right.
