A quarter sawn oak stacking desk top file cabinet has 12 drawers and dates from about 1910. No signature survives, but we have seen these signed "Globe Wernicke of Cincinnati, Ohio." Useful for papers, a collector or jewelry, there are finger holes in the drawer bottoms to push up papers.
The restored rich finish is in excellent condition, coppery hardware is original. Drawer interiors measure 15 1/2" x 18" and 1" deep.
Dimensions are 41 1/2" wide, 18" deep and 16 1/2" tall.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library or office furniture.
