Oak Bannister Post, 1900 Antique Architectural Salvage

Architectural salvage from a 1900 era Chicago house, this solid oak bannister post has a very good old finish. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Three sides have delicate carving, there are notches where it was originally attached to a staircase.
Measurements of this historic antique are 11 1/2" square and 43" tall.
