Oak Carved Antique 1880's Architectural Salvage Newell Post

Hand carved of solid oak for an 1880's Chicago house, this architectural salvage newel post from a staircase is very well worn.

There are shrinkage separations from age, losses and stains for antique character.

Size is 16" square at the base, 42" tall and the shaft is 5" square.
