Architectural salvage from a downtown 1880's Chicago building, this pair of solid cast bronze door backplates includes two thumb latches and one handle.
The embossed design is said to be from a Louis Sullivan original and it certainly looks like his work, but there is no proof. This antique American made hardware is deeply patinated.
Size is 18" tall, 3" wide and projection is 2 1/2."
