Signed "Puritan of Sheboygan, WI" and "Patented Jan 7, 1919," this stunning wind up phonograph or record player is in fine working condition. The mahogany case has a dramatic shape, the sound comes from a horn mounted behind grillwork at the base.
The cabinet was refinished many years ago and is in very good condition. A tilting front door opens to record storage, a couple of albums of old records are included. A rare signed "Puritan" record jacket is also included, mounted in a frame.
The interior is all original, gold plated hardware, the original decal, engraved plaques and the model name, "Baroque." There are on/off, volume and speed controls plus an automatic shut off.
