This small cast iron safe from the 1890's is painted with the first owner's name and signed, "Reliable Safe & Lock, Covington, Kentucky."
The combination is available for the lock, which still works. An original card gives instructions on how to change the combination as desired.
The black paint includes gold pin striping and the "fire proof" logo, and is well worn as shown. Inside is an oak divider with a drawer and small iron compartment with no key. Nickel mounts are original.
Measurements of this antique are 15" wide, 18" deep and 23 1/2" tall, including the iron wheels.
