A magnificent dining set in the Renaissance manner from about 1920 includes a table with three leaves and ten chairs. Lavishly carved of walnut, the gleaming finish is excellent throughout. American made antique furniture, no maker's signature survives.
The table has a trestle base and three 15" wide leaves, one has a matching carved skirt, two have plain skirts.
Measurements are 54" wide, 31 1/2" tall, legroom is 26" and length when closed is 70," and with all three leaves in place, length is 9' 7" overall.
Large and comfortable chairs have tight and strong frames, reglued to serve another generation. New upholstery is soft and elegant.
Two armchairs measure 25" wide, 24" deep, 41" tall and seats are 20" high. Eight side chairs are 21" wide.
