Hand carved of solid walnut about 1895, a Renaissance design bed has been adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress as shown.
The satiny finish is excellent. Deep moldings, spiral columns and graceful carving are masterful. Historic furniture from Italy, carved panels are shaped and raised on this grand antique.
Measurements are 73" wide, 91" long, the headboard is 60" tall and the footboard is 42" high.
