Signed by famous maker, "Ridgeway Model 9920," this imposing grandfather tall or long case clock is dated 2002.
In impeccable condition, the brass signed movement keeps accurate time and runs one week on a winding. A lever chooses silent, St. Michael, Whittington or the familiar Westminster chime tune from Big Ben in London. Part of the melody plays each quarter hour and there is a strike on the hour as well.
The fruitwood case is signed "Pulaski" furniture and is in extremely fine condition with burnished bronze accents. The glass over the dial is arched, other glass panes are all beveled. Engraved brass pendulum, weights, face and crank are all polished and lacquered.
Measurements are 28 1/2" wide, 15" deep and 94" tall.

This clock needs to be "set up" when delivered - weights and pendulum attached and the case leveled. Most of our customers can do this as we walk them through the fairly simple steps by phone. The process is not very difficult, and it is also nice to know how to do this again whenever the clock needs to be moved for cleaning, painting or whatever.
A few customers prefer to hire a local clockmaker at their own expense to make a house-call and set up the clock, which is usually not very expensive, depending on your location.
