R.J. Horner New York Bookcase, Carved Dolphins

Famous New York maker, "R.J. Horner" signed this spectacular mahogany bookcase with columns supported by carved dolphins. All three doors have original wavy glass and open to separate sections of rebuilt shelves, adjustable on later metal pegs.

The silky finish is excellent with rich deep color and only minor mars at the edges. Bun feet are original.

Workmanship is outstanding as would be expected from one of America's most respected furniture makers, see photo of engraved signature plate.

Measurements of this 1885 era antique are 5' 10" wide, 20" deep and 5' tall.
