This matched rosewood desk is a brilliant example of genuine Danish Modern vintage furniture made in Denmark about 1960. The satiny finish is superb, dovetailed drawers are finished inside in natural birch and the original locks all work.
Opposite the drawer side is an open bookshelf and a locking compartment. There are only very small blemishes to the edges of the alluring satin finish. This desk has the gorgeous grain of rosewood, one of the rarest and most beautiful exotic woods in the world.
Minimalist design and totally solid construction are emblematic of this celebrated furniture. The top is 1 3/8" thick, there is subtle brass inlay around the edge, also in the original rosewood drawer pulls. Note the "floating" legs, separated from the sides of the body of the desk. Size is 4'9" long, 2'6" wide, and 29" tall.
