Scandinavian Hand Painted Antique Corner Cabinet, Signed 1845

Hand crafted of wormy pine in Scandinavia and signed "JAS 1845," this charming corner cupboard or cabinet is in exceptional condition.

There is just enough wear to the original finish for antique character, the feet were restored later. Hand faceted or "rose cut" nails are visible. The folk art hand painting is beautiful on this rugged European country furniture.

An original wrought iron open work lock and key still operate, locking automatically when the door is closed.

Measurements are 31" on each side or radius and 65 1/2" tall.
