School Master 1880 Antique Butternut & Walnut Teacher Desk

This 1880 era school master's desk is solid butternut and walnut with an excellent finish and warm patina. There are warps from age to the top and legs, see photos. Two drawers have the round pin and cove dovetail joints that are characteristic of the Eastlake period.

American made antique teacher's furniture, the slanting top has a gallery bookshelf at the top.

Measurements are 52" wide, 30" deep, the writing surface slopes up from 30" high at the front, the gallery is 36" high.
