A matching set of 4 dining or game chairs has beautiful imported tapestry upholstery. Hand-carved of solid walnut about 1900, the frames are solid and the finish is in excellent condition. These comfortable antique chairs are quite erect, and have new padding.
These chairs have been expertly re-glued for strength and durability, the joints are tight and solid. Chairs are the hardest used of all furniture, they need more gluing, tightening and restoration than another household furnishing.
Our skilled woodworkers have checked for problems, disassembled, removed old glue, applied fresh glue and clamped these chairs to give them another generation of service. The price of our chairs includes restoration, and they are ready to use - durable and usable for modern lifestyles.
Measurements are 19" wide, 18" deep, 41" tall and seats are 20" high.
The bookcase and library or dining table in the last four photos are sold separately.
