Six matching quarter-sawn oak dining chairs have "Northwind" carved "pressback" motifs. Graceful "arrowback" spindles and the shaped seats are striking.
The rich brown finish is very fine on these strong and very usable chairs. There are small irregularities and shrinkage separations from age in the seats, see photos.
Large and comfortable American antiques from about 1895, these chairs measure 19" wide, 22" deep, 39" tall and seats are 18" high.
There is a matching armchair that is sold and priced separately, call or email for availability.
