Signed "Universal," a set of 6 antique 1900's butter knives have genuine Mother of Pearl handles. This was a trademark of famous maker, Landers, Frary & Clark, founded in Connecticut in 1853.
Shanks are signed sterling silver, blades are "stainless resistain." There are minor scratches and slight wear, see photos.
Exquisitely elegant American made antiques, shanks are richly embossed. These knives are great for butter, appetizers or cheese, length is 5 3/4."
