Set of 8 Carved Swedish Georgian Style Leather Antique Dining Chairs

Eight solid mahogany Georgian design dining chairs were expertly hand carved in Sweden in the mid 1800's.

Old leather seats have brass nailheads, there are cracks and wear to the green leather as shown in photos. Fine detailing and hand mortised joints are masterful on strong and durable frames.

The old finish is very well preserved with a little antique character - there are mars and wear at the edges.

Waxed and buffed, just an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the warm patina on this comfortable European furniture.

Six arm chairs measure 21" wide, 21" deep, 38" tall and seats are 19" high. Two host chairs have graceful carved arms and are 26" wide, 22" deep and 38" tall.
