An authentic 1820's American Sheraton console table was once part of a large banquet dining table, its mate in the photos is priced separately, call or email for availability.
Beautiful for serving or in a foyer, this is stately furniture from an elegant era. Solid walnut, this New England antique has reeded legs with the charming irregularity of hand carving.
The one board top has marvelous grain, the two tables have matched tops. On the back, the carved wooden hinges remain, they originally connected to a center gateleg dining table, which has been lost.
There are small shrinkage separations in the curved apron or skirt, see photos. The gleaming finish is excellent on this strong and solid table, measurements are 47 1/2" long, 22" deep and 29" tall.
