Thomas Sheraton was an English carpenter and priest who wrote one of the first furniture guides, allowing his designs to flourish across Britain and into the United States. This drop leaf "Pembroke" end table or nightstand is a fantastic piece of 19th century history.
- 1830s antique American made furniture
- Walnut & cherry with walnut burl accents
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
- Minor mars, surface irregularities, & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Original brass keyhole liners
- Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints
- Working locks with one key
Size is 18.5" wide, 20" deep and 28" tall. With both leaves open, overall width is 36.5".
