This 1920's tall chest or cabinet in the English Tudor manner is actually American made, sometimes called a chifferobe.
Exceptionally well constructed in walnut, burl and oak, the top has been revarnished for durability. The rest of the original finish is very well preserved with minor mars at the edges for antique character. Waxed and buffed, only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain the warm patina. Large dovetailed drawers have rope twist brass ring pulls. The signature label is missing.
Measurements are 38" wide, 21" deep and 56" tall.
