A top of the line "Victor Talking Machine" or Victrola from about 1915 has a quarter sawn oak case and gold plated mounts.
The premium four spring wind up motor has been newly serviced and lubricated, it is in superb working condition, silent and smooth.
The finish is in very fine condition on the gracefully shaped case. "Model VVXVI," the original decal under the lid shows the mascot dog "Nipper" listening to "His Master's Voice."
There are speed and on/off controls, volume control is soft (both doors closed), medium (one door closed) and loud (both doors open). Albums of records are included with this historic record player, the gold key and lock still work. Size is 23" wide, 25" deep and 49" tall.
