Signed by the famous "Victor Talking Machine Co," a Victrola phonograph Model VVXI was made from 1917-21, and has a quarter sawn oak case.
The finish is original and in very good condition with a little "crazing" for antique character on beautifully figured grain. An original Nipper dog with "His Master's Voice" decal is under the lid. The original lock and key still work, mounts are nickel finish over brass.
This wind up record player works very well and has strong volume, adjustable to soft (two doors closed), medium (one door open) and loud (2 doors open).
A group of standard 78 rpm records are included as shown. A gold signature plaque from the original Milwaukee dealer is mounted inside.
Measurements of this American made furniture are 20" wide excluding the removable handle, 22" deep and 43" tall.
