One of the best preserved Victrolas we have ever seen, this luxurious model VVXVI was made between 1915 and 1917. All original, the mahogany case has a wonderfully preserved finish with glowing patina.
There are minor mars and fine crackling or crazing for antique character, see photos. Gold plated mounts are in excellent condition, there are on/off and speed controls and working locks. Volume control is soft (both doors closed), medium (one door open) and loud (both doors open). The graceful case has delicate carving. Signed "Victor Talking Machine Co.," the famous "Nipper" dog mascot is under the lid.
Two albums of assorted records are included. This record player is in superb mechanical condition, the motor runs quietly and the volume is hearty.
Measurements of this American made musical furniture are 24" wide excluding the removable crank, 26" deep and 50" tall.
