One of the finest Victorian era child's rocking chairs we have ever seen, this antique is in amazing condition. The classic rocker design became known as a "Lincoln" rocker after the president was assassinated at the Ford Theater while sitting in one of similar style.
Hand -carved of solid walnut, the lustrous finish is excellent, the frame is strong and sturdy. This historic American furniture has been newly upholstered in fabric with design of the period.
Measurements are 16" wide, 25" deep, 28" tall and the seat is 10" high.
