A Victorian 1870's hanging kerosene lamp has an original "end of the day" cranberry glass shade. Undamaged, the dimpled 14" diameter hand made glass shade is exquisite.
The embossed rose brass frame is complete, there is a smoke bell. Bohemian crystal prisms appear later on this American made antique light. The "queen size" burner is for kerosene or lamp oil, it is not difficult to wire this lamp for electricity if desired. The pulley and chain are still inside the cap, but it does not pull up and down.
Size is 16" across and 36" tall overall.
