A spectacular Victorian period armoire, wardrobe or closet was hand carved of solid curly grain walnut about 1860. Doors have working locks.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few shrinkage separations from age. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and hand carved pulls.
The interior is painted, one back panel is a replacement. This American made antique furniture could be fitted with shelves or a closet pole as desired, interior depth is 17." For easier delivery, this armoire disassembles.
Measurements are 65" wide at the crown, 22" deep and 101 1/2" tall.
