This darling Victorian era washstand would've held a large bowl with pitcher, serving as a person's "bath" before indoor plumbing. While you could still use this stand for the same purpose, we think it would be a fabulous nightstand or hall console.

- Old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
