A bronze counter or service bell was used on the front desk Victorian hotel, and dates from about 1850. It has a slight "list" to one side and the white porcelain button on top has a crack, see photo.
Nice for a wine bar, the base is deeply embossed with grapes and grape leaves. This American antique bell has a clear, bold strong ring. Height is 6" and diameter is almost 4" across.
