This splendid three piece bedroom set dates from the late Victorian or Eastlake period and includes a queen size bed, commode or nightstand, and a large dresser with secret jewelry drawers.
- 1870s antique American made large scale bedroom furniture
- Stunning deep hand carving in solid mahogany with figured mahogany panels
- Original varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
- Various mars, shrinkage separations, & dresser marble has a professional repair - see photos
- Original heavy bronze hardware
- Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints
- Top center jewelry drawer key on dresser is handle only
- Beveled mirrors have "smoke" for antique charm
- Mirrors & marble tops are removable
- Dresser has two secret drawers with velvet lining for jewelry
- Bed has been expertly adapted to fit a modern queen size mattress
- Bed setup is not included
Bed size is 90" long and 70.5" wide. The headboard is 85" tall and the footboard is 37.5" tall. Slats sit 6.5" from ground and the demonstrator mattress is 16" thick. Interior dimensions of the bed frame are 80” long and 62” wide.
Washstand size is 36" wide, 21" deep and 74.5" tall. Dresser size is 56.5" wide, 25.5" deep and 86" tall.
