This solid mahogany Victorian coal hod was made to sit next to a fireplace. The original finish is very fine with a little wear and warm patina, accenting the inlaid satinwood banding. Heavy embossed brass mounts are original from about 1895.

Size of this picturesque English antique is 13" wide, 17" deep and 12" tall.
