Authentic Victorian furniture from the 1880's, a marble top dresser with beveled mirror would be a fine vanity or base for a vessel sink. If the mirror frame was raised with marble or tile, it might accommodate a raised sink more easily.
The shaped and beveled mirror frame has some smoke in the silvering - it is charming as it is or could be resilvered if desired. Solid walnut, the drawers have matched burl fronts, dovetailed sides and original heavy brasses.
Delicate carved detailing is beautiful, the lustrous finish is excellent. The front is gently bowed, and the "Tennessee Red" marble top is in very fine condition.
Size of this American antique is 48 1/2" wide, 22" deep, 6' 3" tall and the marble top is 30" high.
