This Victorian antique slant-top desk was used in a railroad station by a telegrapher. Holes from the telegraph equipment are plugged in the top flat area, and the front work area is sloped.
Solid walnut furniture with some shrinkage, see photo, the drawers have carved pulls and dovetailed sides. Arched panel sides are especially beautiful.
Dimensions are on this circa 1875 desk are 45" wide, 41" deep, 33 1/2" tall, slanting down to 31" high at the front.
