This watchmaker's desk or clockmaker's workbench dates from around 1910. Solid birch and pine, the finish is in excellent condition, preserving stains and mars for antique character. There are marks from the foot treadle operated lathe and polisher, now missing.
American made furniture, there are eight drawers of various sizes. To keep tiny parts from rolling away, the top has a gallery and a groove along the front, there is also a pull out "parts catcher" with a fabric bottom.
This stool height bench measures 40" wide, 20" deep and 39" tall.
