The American Electric Fusion Corporation printed this map with a clever logo "In war, follow steps to victory of AEF (American Expeditionary Forces) on this map - then follow AEF (American Electric Fusion) on latest developments in welding." Combing war efforts with advertising was a marketing strategy to encourage American patriotism.
