Spinning Bookcase, 1890's Antique Chairside or Tabletop Revolving Bookshelf

From the 1890's, this spinning bookcase has a cast iron base and sturdy bolts from top to bottom. Solid birch, this American made revolving bookshelf could be used chairside or on a table.
The finish is in very fine condition, there are shrinkage separations from age, see photos.
Measurements are 15" square and 18 1/2" tall, books up to 8" fit nicely.
