Hand made in the 1880's as a bedroom commode or "bonnet box," this lift-lid Victorian cabinet was intended to hold a bowl and pitcher.
The original hand painted grained finish is very well preserved with a coat of satin varnish. Doors have reverse chamfered panels and an original brass knob.
American made furniture, this solid pine antique has a wainscoting back. Size is 25" wide, 17" deep and 31" tall.
