Signed "Paine of Boston," an Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period library table or writing desk dates from about 1905. The deep finish is in excellent condition on solid quarter sawn oak.
Over 1" thick, the top has just enough mars and dings for antique character, see photos.
American made furniture, the dovetailed drawers have original brass ring pulls.
Measurements are 54" long, 32" wide, 30" tall and legroom is only 21 1/2" underneath, hard to sit underneath.
