Signed "U. S. Navy, 1943, Lionel Corporation, NY.," this heavy weight ships compass is solid brass. The gimball double suspension keeps the liquid filled compass flat on rough seas.
The removable dome cover has sliding doors on this World War II vintage nautical instrument. Polished brass, there are small dings for a little antique character.
Size is 14" diameter and 14" tall.
