An 1880's bedroom set from the late Victorian or Eastlake period includes a queen size bed and a marble top dresser with beveled mirror.
Solid walnut with intricate matched burl panels and high relief carving, the restored finish is excellent on this American made antique furniture.
The bed has been expertly adapted to fit a standard modern queen size mattress and spring unit, the demonstrator set is 18" thick together. Wood slats underneath are included.
Bed size is 67" wide and 87" long, the headboard is 77" tall, the footboard is 32" tall.
The chest or dresser has a "Tennessee Red" marble top, polished and sealed to resist stains. Candle stands flank the swivel mirror. Drawers have dovetailed joints and original nickel hardware, the velvet lined jewelry drawer has a key for a handle only, the lock does not work.
Size is 43" wide, 21" deep, 78" tall and the top is 30" high.
