From the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1880, a parlor lamp table is cherry with beautiful inlaid marquetry of a musical lyre and floral motif.
The original ebonized cherry finish is charmingly worn, preserved with clear varnish. Burl banding and the delicate marquetry show great artistry on this American made antique furniture. There are slight warps to the legs from age, see photos.
Size is 44" wide, 26" deep and 29" tall.
