A chest or dresser from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1880 is solid walnut with burl panels. Incised "spoon" carving is characteristic of the era.
The renewed finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Embossed brass hardware and beveled mirror are original with some spots and crazing, see photos. The swivel mirror is flanked by candle stands. Drawers have dovetailed joints.
Size is 42" wide, 19" deep and 73" tall, the surface area is 28" tall.
