A country pine "dry sink" was made about 1900 for a farmhouse kitchen in the days before running water. The base is wainscoting on this American made primitive furniture.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving deterioration at the base, shrinkage separations from age and wear for antique character. The iron latch is original.
