Hand crafted in England around 1800 in the Georgian period, this mahogany dresser has a graceful bow front.
Mahogany with inlaid satinwood banding, there are numerous restorations over the years. The renewed finish is in excellent condition, preserving a few dings, stains and shrinkage separations from age for character on this antique furniture.
The top is cut from a single wide plank of mahogany. Drawers have oak hand dovetailed sides, bottoms are restored to glide smoothly. Hand finished brasses are old but do not appear original to this piece.
Measurements are 43" wide, 21" deep and 42" tall.
